Not enough cream?

So what do you think? I was picturing it with more cream in it. I do like it though. I think it will look very pretty on Miss E with a white singlet/top on a summers day!

I have also finished this PK soaker in Vintage Hues.

Not much else going on here. Just lots of pregnany aches and pains! The heartburn is getting kind of annoying!

I finally decided which dye-up to send as my SS pressent! I actually like the one I am sending better than this one so I am hoping she likes it too!

So much to make! So little time!

My to do list seems to be growing by the minute! I do have some things to get done by Christmas so i think they will have to be bumped to the top of the list. I am waiting on the pattern and fabrics for the bags I am going to make for Christmas presents so meanwhile I am doing more knitting!
I finished the jumper for Miss E and I am very happy with it! It didn't take me as long as I thought it might which is great as if it was taking too long I think i might have moved on to another project!

I did a couple of dye ups last night too! One is for my EB secret santa but I still haven't decided which so no pics yet!

Something for me!

We had a warm day here yesterday and I had nothing to wear that I would be comfortable in and was ok to go out in so....I made myself a top! I used the same tutorial as I did for Miss E's top I made a while ago. I didn't do a great job with the finishing off so I'm not sure it will last that long but I like it and it is nice and cool!!!

I am well into a jumper for Miss E now. It is the Boatneck Sweater from Baby Knits for Beginners by Debbie Bliss. VERY easy to make so far! Just hopeing the sewing up goes well!

So Miss E and I have been very spoilt!

Knit, Knit, Knit...

Yes, that is what I have been doing. Not much else actually. I have been dreaming about other projects but thought that I should get as many soakers and longies done before the end of November so that the babies in Russia can use them.

So here they are...

My next project is another knitting one! I am going to start a boat-neck sweater for Elsa. It is out of a book by Debbie Bliss called Baby Knits for Beginners. I want to make a matching hat and embelish with a flower on each. Not sure what size to do though! I don't want it to be too small when it comes around to winter! I might have to estimate!

Miss E is almost walking. When I say almost I mean that she can do it she just doesn't want to! She will walk when she doesn't realise she is doing it without holding on but as soon as she realises she falls over! I'm sure she will get it soon and then there will be no stopping her.

We had a lovely first birthday party for her on Sunday! The weather was great and she was totaly spoilt!
Josef and I made this cake together for her (I am blessed with a creative husband!)

And after some cake! I'm glad her dress was red!

Here they are!

Well, when I finally got stuck into them it didn't take too long to finish them off. I LOVE The colour and am planning on some butterflies and/or flowers as an embelishment at some stage. There are frills on the bottom although you can't really see them too well in the pic.

I am now well into a pair of longies for babies in Russia (see here for details). Hopeing to get a couple of pairs done by the end of the month.
